We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual to be part of our growing Plasma group, to work as QA / Software Test Manager in our system development project. He/she will be a member of the team on charge of developing the US Systems integration and User Acceptance test strategy, supervise the US testing scenarios and testing execution results. He/she will be also in contact with the user community in our facilities located in Los Angeles, and responsible for providing support for the testing and integration activities.

The role of the software test manager or test lead is to effectively lead the testing team and activities. To fulfill this role, the lead must understand the discipline of testing and how to effectively implement a testing process while fulfilling the traditional leadership roles of a manager. That involves creating a test infrastructure that supports robust communication and a cost-effective testing framework.

Bachelor degree (Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields)
Training on validation of computer systems and GMP environments is preferred
Knowledge of English is a must and the Spanish language is preferred
7+ years experience in full lifecycle IT software systems development, exposure at least 2 prior testing leadership with demonstrable experience.
Managerial background and skills, demonstrable prior experience of at least managing 10 resources.
Test lead with experience in Web Based Testing (and testing products built using Java Technologies) with Automated and Manual Testing experience.
A good mix of Load / Regression / Functional / Stress / Volume testing is desired as well as experience in writing test cases.
HP-Mercury-Quality center knowledge
GMP principles knowledge
5+ years focus in functional, data, system analysis and experience with reading / understanding a system data model.
Practical understanding of technologies including web development, relational databases (Oracle), J2EE, JSP, Unix.
Experience in Java Usage Test Cases design concepts and FDA validation principles. Ability to produce clearly written, well-organized documentation.
Deep knowledge in production, inventory and quality related processes to manufacturing environment.
Independent, detail oriented, but also a strong team player. Proven individual contributor and collaborator.
Strong written and communication skills. Ability to present proposals, execute testing sessions and conduct meetings.
Willingness to learn progress and grow within the company.
Feel comfortable with being part of a global and international organization, assuming the local needs/requirements need to be aligned with the global IT strategy.
